L is for Lollipop

Everyone loved Mr. Sardo’s candy shop.  The best candies there were the lollipops.  He made all flavors and colors.  Children would spend their entire allowance on the lollipops.  Teachers would give them out as prizes.  Every Christmas stocking and Easter basket contained these famous candies.  Mr. Sardo was the wealthiest man in town and had his delicious candies to thank.
At night, alone in bed, Mr. Sardo was nervous.  He was running out of his secret ingredient.  Pretty soon, he would have to move again.  He hoped, this time, the townspeople wouldn’t riot and destroy their village when he left.

  1. Wow. Mysterious. Are you planning on expanding any of these 100 word stories into longer stories? They are very cool.

  3. Thank you so much for the compliment! I might expand a few of them, if I have the time. I am working on a book of short stories called, "After Midnight" to be released this summer and I am about half way done a novel. Sooo, long story short, maybe. I think of them as story potato chips... just a snack, semi-filling. The secret ingredient is... Wait, let me ask... is road salt. Yuck. Mr. Sardo is so gross. hehehehe
